COVID-19 Updates

As part of Information Technology’s commitment to providing superior service to our campus community, IT announced process changes and updates as it moves to support a remote workforce and the health and well-being of all on campus.

  • The TechServices support phone line: 978-934-4357 will be staffed from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Fridays during the Spring semester.
  • Effective Tuesday, March 24 2020, the University Crossing (UC) location will be available by appointment only.
  • All visitors are required to call TechServices at 978-934-4357 to make an appointment prior to coming to campus.
  • In order to keep the number of people in our waiting area minimized, customers are strongly encouraged to drop off equipment and pick it up later.
  • All IT staff will wear gloves or sanitize while working on customers’ equipment for our customer’s and team member’s protection.
  • Wired headsets are available to be picked up at Police Dispatch in the University Crossing B building.
  • Due to building closures, TechServices is suspending all desk-side support, effectively immediately. All services will be done in University Crossing at our appointment-only service window.
  • All tickets in current queue that require desk-side support will be closed, and may be reopened when the campus is back at full capacity.
  • No visitors or customers will be permitted within the IT suite at UC M50.
