Instructional Technology Services (ITS) supports all the technologies available for faculty use in UMass Lowell classrooms, labs, lecture halls and conference rooms. Each classroom has at its minimum a computer, video / data projection and sound, along with an internet connection.

Other instructional technology tools available in many classrooms include document cameras and a Sympodium, a tool that allows faculty to annotate presentations or any application running on a computer. All classrooms – more than 160 rooms at present – offer Lecture Capture, allowing students to view recorded sessions or you can have them live-streamed.

For more information concerning how to use the technology in the classroom, go to our training area or contact us at the Help Desk or 978-934-4357.
