Wheelchair Power Assist

  • Project Description: Wheelchair users may be able to manually push themselves for short distances but need help otherwise. Wheelchair power assists are devices that help people propel their wheelchairs when needed. However, most devices on the market are extremely expensive, so our goal is to make a cost-effective device.

ENEL Canal Cleaner - Autonomy Software

  • Sponsor: City of Lowell
  • Project Description: Our project is the software component of the larger autonomous canal cleaning boat project. We are working on a small, wheeled robot as we do not have access to the boat for testing. We have abandoned the virtual simulations that we discussed in our previous papers to focus on the wheeled bot and we are making much more progress now.

Bluetooth Wireless Thing for Headphones

  • Project Description: For users desiring high fidelity and wireless audio who have experienced discontent with the removal of the 3.5 mm audio jack from newer smart devices, the BAT is a portable device that allows users to utilize their wired headphones wirelessly. Unlike existing products, the BAT allows for customization of equalizer settings and multiple output form factors.
