Why Live Here?
Leitch Hall houses the Developing Leaders in Engineering Living-Learning Community right in the heart of East Campus. If you want to check out intramurals or join a fitness class, the Campus Recreation Center is just across the street. The Tsongas Center, home of the UMass Lowell River Hawk Hockey team, and LeLacheur Park, home of the UMass Lowell River Hawk Baseball team, are both an easy walk away.
Where Can I Eat?
Fox Hall, located right across the street, houses the largest dining facility on campus, Fox Dining Commons. Features include pasta and salad bars, a sauté station where you can customize your own meal and Rowdy's Roadhouse, which serves pub-style food. You can also stop by the P.O.D. Market for grab & go meals, snacks, and supplies or Rowdy's for a quick meal - on the first floor of Fox in The Common, our late night programming space.
Getting Around and Parking
Parking is made easy with the East Campus parking garage, and the campus buses stop regularly right in front of Leitch Hall.
Did You Know?
Leitch Hall was fully renovated in fall 2014 and houses the Lion's Den common room, where students hang out every day. It's a great place to meet for a group project and go to an awesome social program your RA is having! It also has social lounges and study rooms on each floor.
"Living in Leitch Hall is amazing. I have never met a group of people so dedicated to their job as the Leitch Hall Residence Life staff members. They are always kind and supportive; looking for ways to help you as much as they can. They truly make living and learning in Leitch Hall an excellent experience." - Edward Silva
"Being a freshman at UMass Lowell living on campus is the best experience a student can get. I currently live in Leitch Hall and the staff in this building are better than any first year student could ask for. The Resident Advisors are simply the kindest, most knowledgeable and caring people on campus. My RA has been there to talk to me when I have had any trouble in my life, whether it is entirely convenient or not for her. I am so glad I decided to live on campus because it is simply the best choice a student here at Lowell can make." – Becca Woundy
