When to Arrive

We are so excited to welcome you to campus this Fall!

Fall 2018 Move-In Dates

  • Saturday, September 1, 2018: New student move-in (any new student to the University)
  • Sunday, September 2, 2018: Returning student move-in

All students will have an individual time for move in. This will be listed on the online housing portal by the second week in August. Please note that these times will need to be confirmed prior to moving in.

New student move-in: Saturday, September 1, 2018

All students are required to present their UMass Lowell Student ID to move-in. Students without a student ID will NOT be permitted to move into their hall.

Students new to UMass Lowell will receive their IDs during orientation. Those who did not can pick them up at the UCaps office during move in hours. Upon check in all students will receive the key to their room, important documentation, and instructions on how to fill out the online Room Condition Report (RCR). By signing into the hall, students are agreeing to the Statement of Agreement (pdf).

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view any pdf files. It can be download for free from the Adobe website.

It is very important that you carefully review the condition of everything in your room and document everything on your RCR. You will be held financially responsible for any undocumented damage to the room upon your check-out.

You will be required to review your room and submit your Room Condition Report online within one week of your move-in.
