Are you interested in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics? Are you looking to transition to college more easily and have a more convenient way to make friends?

Become a part of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Living Learning Community!

Live in the same residence hall as other STEM majors to have a better opportunity to meet other students, create study sessions within that hall, and support one another as you transition to college life. Soon you will have a large group of classmates to walk to class with.

The STEM LLC is sponsored by both the Kennedy College of Sciences and Francis College of Engineering. Each college will provide tailored opportunities specific to their college in collaboration with the STEM LLC for residents. Though opportunities will have focuses based on their college, the opportunities will be open to every STEM LLC resident.

In addition, the Kennedy College of Science, Francis College of Engineering, and LLC program is dedicated to breaking down barriers and empowering women in the STEM field. We envision having a positive impact for women in STEM through WISE (Women in Science and Engineering). WISE will offer specialized opportunities to further amplify the presence and voices of women in STEM. Examples of these opportunities are speaker series from women in the STEM field, dialogues from faculty to learn about current topics, as well as workshops to gain specialized skills.
