The UMass Lowell Campus Recreation Center offers a variety of fitness and recreation spaces for students, faculty, staff, members, eligible guests, and Intern Housing guests. Access to the CRC is provided free of charge to Intern Housing guests, provided that the required waiver is signed before participation. From fitness centers and multipurpose courts to group fitness studios, indoor turf, an indoor track, locker rooms, and more, the CRC provides a welcoming space to stay active during your time on campus.
Waiver Requirement - 18 and Over
Intern Housing guests who are 18 years of age and older must complete the Campus Recreation Release of Liability waiver before using the Campus Recreation Center or participating in any Campus Recreation activity. This waiver confirms that participation is voluntary, outlines the risks associated with recreational and fitness activities, and releases the university from liability related to participation, injury, or property damage.
Waiver Requirement - 17 and Under
Intern Housing guests who are 17 years old and under must have a parent or legal guardian complete the Campus Recreation Release of Liability waiver before the minor may use the Campus Recreation Center or participate in any Campus Recreation activity. This waiver confirms that participation is voluntary, outlines the risks associated with recreational and fitness activities, and requires the parent or guardian to acknowledge responsibility for the minor’s participation, conduct, and any required medical care.
