The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Massachusetts Lowell offers graduate programs leading to Master of Science (M.S.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. Our research is funded by the National Science Foundation, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Office of Naval Research and various companies, including Raytheon and Intel.

All applicants must submit the application materials supplied by the Graduate Admissions Office as well as the official score report for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Aptitude Test.
With a BS in Engineering and related areas:
Applicants to the MS Engineering in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering programs should hold a BS degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering areas, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other Engineering disciplines, with acceptable quality of undergraduate work from an accredited college or university.
Applicants to the MS in Engineering should possess backgrounds and their pre-requisites as listed in the academic catalog.
