For many years the student employment programs have helped to meet our students' educational and financial needs, while strengthening and supporting our campus departments. Many university departments rely on student workers to lend vital support to the successful day-to-day operations of UMass Lowell. Our Student Employment Office (SEO) collaborates with all departments, employers, community partners, and students, in order to provide a safe and enjoyable work experience for all.
Looking to hire student workers:
The SEO offers opportunities for you to learn best practices for hiring/managing your student employees. These options include scheduled supervisor presentations & a live supervisor webinar. Please note: Supervisors must participate in one annual training in order to hire student employees.
