National Student Employment Week

Each year, colleges and universities across the country recognize the importance of the student work experience during National Student Employment Week.  Traditionally held the second week of April, it is a special week during which employers acknowledge the invaluable contributions made by student employees in their various roles on campus.

During this week, student employees at UMass Lowell are honored in unique ways, often by celebrating with treats from their employers, ranging from grab bags containing snacks and sweets and/or small supplies for finals, to full-blown pizza parties, to taking a few moments out of their busy work day for some fun team building activities.
