The Office of Transportation Services designs its routes to efficiently transport students, staff, faculty and university community members between campus locations. Being in an urban environment provides challenges that we constantly strive to overcome.

During extreme weather conditions please call ext. 4-2222 (978-934-2222) to ensure Transportation Services is operating, in the event UMass Lowell closes due to weather, there will be no campus transportation provided.
Hours of Operation
Monday - Wednesday: 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Thursday & Friday: 7 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Sunday and Holidays*: 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.
*Holiday hours may change and will be posted online
What's Running and Roadster Routes:
Red Line: East, South
Green East: East, North, East Meadow Lanes
On-Call: Princeton Reserves
Yellow East: East, University Crossings, ICC
East Campus is now the transportation hub for night and weekend service. From East you can get to any location on campus! This will provide increased service for ALL students, reducing wait times and travel times. Traveling from North, South or ICC areas you will have a short trip to East and transfer to the desired van to get to your location.

Gallagher Train Terminal Service
River Hawk Roadster is not permitted to enter the Gallagher train terminal while the LRTA is operating; please check out the LRTA schedule for hours of operations. When LRTA is not in service, you can take the Yellow East line to get from Gallagher Train Terminal to campus.
