Night & Weekend Service Lines

The Night and Weekend Red Line connects East Campus to South Campus with stops at UCrossing and Riverview Suites

Red Line N&W

  • The N&W Red Line connects East Campus to South Campus, making stops at University Crossing before and after East Campus, and Broadway / Riverview after South Campus
  • Buses typically depart East Campus and South Campus every 10-15 minutes
  • On-Call stops for this line include:
    • University Suites
    • MBTA Lowell Train Station
    • Downtown
The Orange Night and Weekend line connects North Campus, UCrossing, Merrimack St. Apartments, and East Campus.

Orange Line N&W

  • The N&W Orange Line shuttles between North Campus and East Campus with stops at University Crossing in between.
  • Buses typically depart North Campus and East Campus every 15-20 minutes
  • On-Call stops for this line include:
    • Lydon/Cumnock
    • University Suites
    • MBTA Lowell Train Station
    • Downtown

Night & Weekend Service Stop Locations

  • North Campus: Near Riverside Parking Lot and Costello Gym
  • South Campus: Wilder Street bus shelter
  • East Campus: Campus Rec. Center circle
  • University Crossing: Bus loop on Salem St.
  • Broadway/Riverview: Broadway St. bus shelter near Riverview Suites

On-Call Stops:

  • Downtown: LRTA bus stop at corner of Palmer and Merrimack St.
  • University Suites: along Aiken St.
  • Lydon / Cumnock: The LRTA bus stops outside of Lydon and Cumnock on University Ave. (Not available Monday - Friday before 7 p.m.)
  • MBTA Lowell Train Station: The Lowell train station off of Thorndike St. (Not available Monday - Friday before 7 p.m. and Saturday before 5 p.m.)

Note: Please use the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) to get to the MBTA Lowell Train Station while the LRTA is operating. Please refer to the LRTA's website for the latest schedule information and hours of operation. UMass Lowell community members are able to ride the LRTA at no charge, by using a valid UCARD.
