Changes coming Fall 2026
- 1 Merrimack Plaza: Shuttle service is being expanded to service this new residence hall. On weekdays between 7 and 11 a.m., the "Orange Connector" will shuttle between 1 Merrimack Plaza and University Suites. At University Suites (USuites), students can transfer to Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) Route 20 for service to North Campus or the Lowell Train Station. After 11 a.m., 1 Merrimack Plaza will be connected directly to USuites, North Campus and UCrossing via the Orange Line. Students can access South Campus via the Red Line at the East Campus bus stop on the opposite side of the Campus Recreation Center (CRC).
- Rowdy's Red Line: During River Hawk games, students will no longer have to request a stop at the Tsongas Center. Whenever "Rowdy's Red Line" is operating, all shuttles will make regular stops at "Tsongas Suffolk Street" at the corner or Suffolk and Perkins streets, just steps away from the student entrance.

- Monday, August 31: Saturday Service (Extra service for Convocation)
- Tuesday, September 1: Resume Regular Hours of Operation (First Day of Classes)

Day Service
- Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.

- Monday - Friday: 6 p.m. - Midnight
- Saturdays: 9 a.m. - Midnight
- Sundays: Noon - Midnight (Limited Service)

Please utilize the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) for transportation needs outside of our service hours, and to locations off campus. Service is free for students , faculty and staff with a UCard.
