Information for Prospective Graduate Students During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Note: We are currently under a temporary graduate admissions policy, due to COVID 19 pandemic. This temporary policy may impact your graduate application requirements.

Now accepting Applications for Spring 2021 & Fall 2021 Admission

All Graduate Applicants: UMass Lowell Graduate Admissions offers rolling admissions for all programs except those noted below. Choose from more than 100 graduate programs, from traditional master's and doctoral to certificate and non-thesis professional science master's programs. Read about the application process and requirements.

Physical Therapy Applicants: All required documents including test scores, transcripts & letters of recommendations must be received by the Office of Graduate Admissions by November 1. If not, your application will not be considered.

Psychology Ph.D. Applicants: Application deadline is January 15, 2021.

Chemistry and Polymer Science Applicants: All required documents must be received by the Office of Graduate Admissions by February 15, 2020 to receive full consideration for Fall 2020 semester acceptance. Applications completed after this date will be considered for acceptance in the subsequent semester.

Education: All required documents must be received by the the Office of Graduate Admissions by October 15 to receive full consideration for summer (trimester) semester acceptance. As a result of unprecedented demand, we are no longer accepting applications for 2021, nor the 2022 Leadership cohort in the Ed.D., program. WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2022 STEM COHORT. Applications for 2023 will be accepted from January - October 15, 2022.

Criminology Ph.D. Applicants: Application deadline is February 1 for fall admission.

Global Studies Ph.D. Applicants: Application deadline is February 1 for fall admission.
