Sample Degree Pathway for Master of Education - Curriculum and Instruction - Science - before Fall 2022
The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction: Science Education Option is a 30-credit degree program which can be completed entirely online. This program does not lead to a teaching license in any state. However, Massachusetts Educators who hold an appropriate Massachusetts Initial License (same license field and grade band) may want to refer to current DESE guidelines and consider if the content courses within this degree are applicable to their Professional License requirements:
Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education Requirement Tool
Massachusetts Professional Teacher Licensure candidates may be able to use up to 12 credits of appropriate content coursework toward their MA Professional license.
