COVID-19 Impacts: Shared Responsibility for Keeping Healthy & Safe

If you are experiencing symptoms, have tested positive or have been deemed to be a close contact of someone who has tested positive, please DO NOT COME to campus.  
  • Residential students or those attending courses on campus should call the COVID line at 978-934-COV2 (2682) or email to talk to a health care professional. 
  • Students residing off campus or taking virtual/online classes should contact a health care professional.  
  • Employees should contact their supervisors and email the COVID-19 HR Response Team at or call Kim Casey at 978-934-3557.
Anyone coming to campus is expected to comply with the Massachusetts Travel Order, which indicates that if you have traveled to a non-exempt state you are required to have a negative COVID-19 test or quarantine for 14 days prior to returning to campus. Before coming to campus or leaving your room each day, please complete the daily symptom checklist.
Social distancing of 6 feet has been configured in all indoor spaces and is expected to be observed by campus community members.
Face coverings must be worn indoors, including in classrooms, laboratories and open office spaces, and outdoors when interacting with others.
If you have tested positive or been in close contact as deemed by the Board of Health and live in Massachusetts, you will be contacted by the MA COVID team (pdf).

University Crossing serves as the heart of the University community while contributing to the University's academic mission and community outreach goals.

University Crossing provides well managed facilities and services while supporting programs and opportunities that identify, meet and celebrate the needs of a diverse community.

Activities within University Crossing will foster the individual and interpersonal development of our students while striving to create a culture of respect and inclusivity for all.

Located at 220 Pawtucket St., the 230,000-square foot complex provides students with easy access to state-of-the-art amenities and services.


University Crossing, River Hawk Shop, Crossroads & Sal's, Starbucks and the Solution Center are closed to the public for access.

The building is only open to university community members for university related business.
