UMass Lowell is implementing a community wide program to raise awareness of the role every member of the campus community has in creating an environment that supports positive mental health in our students.  UMass Lowell joined JED Campus, a nationwide initiative of The Jed Foundation (JED) designed to help schools evaluate and strengthen their mental health, substance misuse and suicide prevention programs and systems to ensure that schools have the strongest possible mental health safety nets.

UMatter2 is here to support students’ mental wellbeing and prevent serious mental health issues and suicide.

We provide information, resources and training to help our community support our students.

Welltrack Connect is an online referral service to help your students locate and connect with a therapist who best fits their mental health needs.

It is aimed to help students access off-campus referrals and eliminate the friction points that typically prevent a student from accessing treatment.

Welltrack Connect aggregates real-time information about a private therapist’s practice, including payment and insurance preferences, location, and availability among other information in a searchable online database that allows you to seamlessly search for, connect with, and schedule appointments with private therapists.

Disability and Health Services

Disability Services is available for assessment of needs and qualifications for disability accommodations (including mental health), organizational and time management assistance, coordination of access to assistive technology.
