Trained Faculty Mental Health Advocates can be found in each college to provide information and resources to support students experiencing mental health concerns. Utilizing their training alongside empathy and active listening skills, they help connect students to support and educate their colleagues. Faculty Mental Health Advocates also:

  • Educate colleagues on the warning signs of mental health issues, how to have conversations with students and what resources are available to support them.
  • Lead events and create partnerships to help facilitate conversations among faculty, staff and students and raise awareness.
