Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.

The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

Two-day trainings:
  • August 21 and 23, 2023 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. each day, University Suites 106
  • October 23 and 25, 2023 from 1 - 5 p.m. each day, University Crossing 421
  • April 8 and 10, 2024 from 12:30 - 5 p.m. each day, Coburn Hall 255
  • May 21 and 23, 2024 from 12:30 - 5 p.m. each day, Southwick Hall 240
  • June 11 and 13, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. each day, University Crossing 260A
One-day trainings:
  • September 21, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Coburn Hall 255
  • November 14, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Southwick Hall 240
  • January 22 , 2024 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Coburn Hall 255
