Are you interested in developing a project in collaboration with a company in a team environment? Kennedy College of Sciences (KCS) Undergraduate Design projects provide a vehicle for you to do this. Companies bring us real problems they’d like you to work on. You’re teamed with other students in your major and possibly in other majors too. A faculty member leads the project in concert with scientists and engineers from the company partner.

As a student, you work for academic credit over a one-year cycle.

KCS Undergraduate Design projects are a great way to gain real-world project expertise, develop teamwork skills, and make contacts with UMass Lowell’s company partners.
