- Go the UMassVIP Portal
- Select "New Student / Scholar Login"
- Enter your ID number, Date of Birth and your Limited Access Pin. If you do not have a limited access pin number, please email your international scholar advisor for one, or follow the prompts under "Email me my Limited Access Pin"
- After successfully logging into UMassVIP Portal, select the "J-1 Scholar Services" tab on the left hand side navigation bar
- Select "J-1 Scholar Arrival"
- Complete the fields and upload required documentation and select "Submit"
