UMass Lowell's Faculty Excellence Awards recognize and celebrate the outstanding performance of UMass Lowell faculty who are selected by the Faculty Excellence Awards Committee in the categories of teaching, mentoring and community engagement.
The portal for the 2025 Faculty Excellence Award is now open for the following awards categories. Please visit the left navigation bar for application guidelines and details for each of the following awards:
- Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching
- Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching
- Award for Excellence in Online Teaching
- Award for Excellence in Teaching for Adjunct Faculty
- Award for Excellence in Mentoring Students
- Award for Excellence in Faculty Mentoring Faculty
- Award for Excellence in Community Engagement
Faculty are encouraged to nominate their colleagues for the above categories. Self-nominations are encouraged. Please visit the Faculty Excellence Awards portal to submit a nomination for yourself or a colleague. Applications are accepted through April 7, 2025.
