All parking lots at UMass Lowell require a current decal on every vehicle when parked before 3 p.m. Parking without decal is permitted on the following schedule and locations, but may not park in designated parking (i.e. Service Vehicles, Designated Parking, Cabinet Member, Department Chair, etc), and must park in legally marked spaces:
In addition, parking in the Fletcher and Salem Lot is available to students with current parking permits after 5 p.m. on weekdays, and all day on weekends, for use of University Crossing. Parking in these two lots may be restricted during major events. Students without a current permit, or those needing to park prior to 5 p.m., must park in the Pawtucket Metered Lot at the posted rates.
*The Olsen Lot is closed weekdays after 10 p.m. and weekends from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. to those without valid staff/faculty decals.
DO NOT attempt to park in a lot if you do not have the privileges listed below, or on the schedule listed above. Even if the gate is open before the schedule listed above, you will be subject to a citation.
Campus maps are available for download. You can also get directions to campus using our interactive Google maps.
Beginning in the fall 2017 semester, freshmen and sophomore commuter students who are North Campus majors will be required to park at Cross River Center Lot at 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. The lot will be serviced by a campus shuttle running from 1001 Pawtucket Blvd. directly to North Campus.
The shuttle will be at the parking lot for pick-ups every 10-15 minutes at the bus shelter located on the far end of the lot. After 3 p.m., freshmen and sophomore commuters may park in the upper-class commuter lots on both North and South campuses.
Please note that after spring 2017 finals that UMass Lowell students may not park in the Ayotte Garage unless paying the established City of Lowell parking rate, and the Purple Line will no longer service Ayotte Garage or East Campus University Suites.
