Were you selected for Verification after filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)?

If you were selected for Federal Verification after completing the FAFSA, you will need to provide additional information to complete your financial aid file. The verification process is completed in your Financial Aid Portal (FA Portal). Students will need a UMass Lowell (UML) student account before being able to access the Financial Aid Portal.

New to UMass Lowell?

  • You will initiate your UMass Lowell (UML) student account, student ID and set up your system access with multifactor authentication. Follow the instructions in your admissions portal or reach out to our Information Technology office for guidance.
  • Once you have your UML student account and have set up your password, you will log in to the Financial Aid Portal to register your account

  • Log in to your Financial Aid Portal using your UML student credentials and password to register your account.
