Support AACEE!

Recent federal cuts to programs supporting Minority Serving Institutions, including Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs), threaten the future of initiatives that have transformed lives at UMass Lowell. These initiatives are vital to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed. Thanks to two AANAPISI grants received in 2021 and 2023, we established the Asian American Center for Excellence & Engagement (AACEE) — a home where students find belonging, mentorship, and opportunity. Since opening in 2022, AACEE has served more than 1,800 students, helping them access holistic student support. Students engaged with AACEE increased their awareness of campus resources by 48% and increased access to those resources by 64%. With a visiting faculty member in Southeast Asian American Studies and progress toward an Asian American Studies minor, we are building a legacy of education and empowerment. But this progress is at risk. Your support today ensures that all students continue to find pathways to thrive at UMass Lowell and beyond. Simply use the link provided below.

The Center for Asian American Studies (CAAS) endowment has been established to provide and support students attending UMass Lowell and AACEE. By contributing to this fund, you directly contribute to scholarships for students affiliated with AACEE.

Our Satellite Food Pantries are specially designed food distribution centers that will serve as a hub of nourishment and support to provide culturally specific foods that Asian American students would be familiar with.

Your support means the world to us. Thank you for being part of the AACEE community!
