An Event Driven Middleware Architecture for a Geographically Distributed Synthetic Battlefield
Load Balancing on two nodes: The terrain is divided into 4 regions and the regions are assigned to nodes to balance the computational cost which depends on the number of agents and the types of agents in that region. Stars represent soldiers and circles represent tanks.
Performance analysis: The CPU execution time required is plotted against the number of nodes and the number of processes running on each node. The CPU execution time decreases with an increase in the number of nodes. The CPU execution time also decreases with an increase in the number of processes per node. If there is a large number of processes per node then the performance may go down due to process overheads.
The CPU execution time decreases with an increase in the number of nodes.
The latency increases with an increase in the number of nodes.
