Open Rehearsal Registration

The Marching Band's open rehearsal provides an opportunity for high-school band student-musicians and collegiates from Northeast Consortium of Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts (NECCUM) schools, and current UMass Lowell student-musicians, to sit in with current band members. Play with the ensemble, meet our staff and receive details about the upcoming season's performances. Visit the Marching Band page for more information.

University Bands at UMass Lowell (UML) perform on campus and throughout New England. Under the Direction of Dan Lutz and Associate Director Deb Huber, the bands offer a wide variety of musical experiences for all UML students. Click on the boxes below for details about each group.

Collegiate Bands are followed by outreach programs available to students in grades 5-12.

Music Outreach for Bands & Instrumental Musicians Grades 5-12

The instrumental music outreach ensembles are under the direction of Executive Director Deb Huber and are open to talented high school and middle school students in grades 5-12.
