The BLA Concentration in Economics allows students to emphasize a particular area in Economics like international, quantitative or environmental economics. A series of courses can also be chosen from different areas to strengthen or complement the student’s second concentration such as Health Economics, Labor Economics, or International Trade Theory.
Required Courses
A minimum of 6 courses in Economics.
- ECON.2010 Principles of Microeconomics
- ECON.2020 Principles of Macroeconomics
- 3 Economics courses at the 3000-4000 level
- 1 Economics course at any level
