Manning Career Connected Experience Requirement
Aligned with the university’s strategic priority of supporting students to get at least one career-connected experience during their program of study and with the Manning School’s increased emphasis on preparing our students for careers in business, this degree requirement will offer multiple pathways for developing business professional skills that can be valuable for students in launching or advancing their careers.
A Career-Connected Experience (CCE) is a credit-bearing or non-credit-bearing activity that provides students with practical, experiential learning opportunities aligned with their career goals and professional development. All students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) program, admitted Fall 2026 and later, will be required to complete a CCE prior to graduation. The advising report will specify if the criteria is satisfied and it will be evaluated during the Declare Intent to Graduate (DIG) form review process.
