Biosketch
Philomina is a recent UMass Dartmouth graduate, where she obtained a master's degree in civil and environmental engineering. She now serves as a Clean Energy and Environment Legacy Transition (CELT) Fellow with the Martha's Vineyard Commission. In this role, she researches sustainable energy solutions to support the island's ambitious climate goals. Drawing on her engineering background, she analyzes energy systems, evaluates renewable technologies, and collaborates with local stakeholders to develop actionable strategies to reduce carbon emissions. Passionate about resilience, sustainability, and environmental stewardship, she aims to bridge technical expertise and community needs, helping Martha's Vineyard chart a practical, equitable path toward a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
