Biosketch
Tess Shotland is a Senior at Boston University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) / Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Analysis and Policy / Energy and Environment. Tess previously served for 6 years on her hometown’s Youth Commission, and she’s excited to get involved with local-level policy implementation. She is interested in how utilities and infrastructure intersect with climate change. This past Summer, Tess worked with Laminar Collective, a startup focused on heat-pump research and installation. This spring, Tess will be working with the city of Framingham, Massachusetts and she is thrilled to be working on the city's Clean Energy and Sustainability Initiatives.
