Audrey is pursuing a Master of Regional Planning and Master of Sustainability Science dual degree at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Their academic work specializes in climate change and water sustainability with a personal interest in prioritizing equity in climate work. Originally from New York City, Audrey relocated to Washington where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound. Through various roles, they developed a passion for farming that underscored the need for urgent climate action. Upon returning to school, Audrey was determined to build up a greater understanding of climate science and use that technical expertise to aid in climate adaptation and mitigation on the municipal and regional level. As a CELT Fellow placed for the second time in the Town of Ashfield, Audrey is excited to continue developing projects focusing on bringing geothermal to Ashfield, expanding solar energy production, and investigating the process of transitioning to a zero emissions municipal fleet.
