Biosketch

Colin Ormond is a fourth-year political science undergraduate student at the University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML). He focuses on environmental politics and sustainability while minoring in German studies and economics. In his previous roles, he has assisted with research on the Massachusetts 2022 Textile Ban through the Emerging Scholars Program and various environmental international organizations through the UML Honors College. He also worked for State Representative Kate Lipper-Garabedian as a legislative intern. In the first cohort of Office of Energy Transformation Fellows, he assisted on multiple working group projects. As someone passionate about sustainability, Colin is excited to continue his work as a CELT Fellow at the Rist Institute. In his free time, Colin likes to work out, hike, and play basketball. Additionally, he is the President of the Love of the Game Club at UML.
