Beck is an environmental science and policy graduate student at Northeastern University and will be graduating this spring. They are originally from Illinois but moved to Boston for their undergraduate studies at Boston University, where they majored in Marine Science. Whether making observations in the field, creating maps in ArcGIS, or writing reports, Beck is passionate about connecting science with policy to support a greener world. They are excited to apply these skills as a CELT Fellow placed with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC). In their free time, they enjoy long walks, reading, and exploring Boston’s museums, parks, and similar spaces.
