Biosketch

Kai is a graduate student at Northeastern University pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) in Urban Informatics, with a concentration in Climate and Resilience. During his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University, Kai developed a passion for using data science to help understand and address pressing issues, especially ones that are environmental and energy related. With previous experience in clean heating and energy policy through Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) and Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships, Kai is excited to mesh his skills in data science with work on the energy transition. Outside of school and work, Kai enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing video games.
