Deanna grew up in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, and now calls Cambridge home. She’s a second-year master's student in Tufts’ Environmental Policy and Planning program, fascinated by how natural and social systems intersect in the clean energy transition. She’s especially curious about how policy, environmental justice, and impact investing can spark more equitable, community-centered solutions.
She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental Science in 2019 from UMass Amherst with an Integrated Concentration in Renewable Energy. Over the past seven years, she’s worked across North America and Europe in clean-tech and climate-tech, navigating technical, commercial, and partnerships roles. Her experiences fuel her passion for understanding how climate solutions are financed, how capital is deployed, and how policy can guide impact-driven outcomes.
When she’s not plotting the next energy breakthrough, Deanna can usually be found hiking, skiing, or paddling in the White Mountains—or attempting to cook something ambitious while friends taste-test along the way.
