Biosketch

Jaelyn Carr is a graduate student at Boston University pursuing a Master of Science in Energy and Environment alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy and Analysis, with an expected graduation in May 2026. She has worked with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 1 Brownfields Program, Mystic River Watershed Association, MassEnergize, Green Light New Orleans, Boston Medical Center, and Our Climate, supporting community outreach, data analysis, and policy-focused research related to environmental justice and clean energy access. She is excited to use this skillset as a CELT Fellow placed with the City of Boston. Her interests center on energy equity, climate justice, and making environmental information accessible to the public. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, reading Afrofuturist books, drawing trees, and spending time in nature.
