Biosketch
Zahra is a doctotal candidate in Global Studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, with research interests in environmental policy, sustainability, climate governance, and community engagement. She currently serves as a CELT Municipal Fellow placed with the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (NMCOG), where she supports regional clean energy and sustainability initiatives. Her academic and professional work focuses on stakeholder engagement, environmental justice, renewable energy, and inclusive approaches to local and regional climate planning.
