Disability Services is an appointment-based service.

  • How to register with Disability Services: Please follow the Disability Registration Process.
  • Booking an appointment: Before you can book an appointment with Disability Services, a student must first register with our office.
  • For students who are already registered with Disability Services: Students who have already had an Intake Appointment and are fully registered with Disability Services can log in to Accommodate to book an appointment.

Important Student Updates

Fall 2025 Registration with Disability Services

Students who have completed and submitted the Public Accommodation Request Online form, and have their documentation approved, will receive an email with instructions on how to book an appointment. If approved, you may  login onto accommodated to schedule an Intake Appointment. Please be aware that appointment availability may be limited at this time of the year.

Fall 2025 Accommodations Requests

The semester is now open for students who are fully registered with Disability Services to submit their accommodations request. Letters will be emailed to instructors starting Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Students need to resubmit their requests if they make any changes to their schedule. 

Fall 2025 Semester Refresher Sessions

Join  our Semester Refresher and meet our Peer Coaches during one of our sessions below. You do not need to register. For more information on what will be covered you can visit our Programs and Events webpage.

Disability Service (DS) Peer Coaches

Our experienced DS Peer Coaches, who are registered with our office, and here to provide the support you need for a successful semester. They can assist on issues like:

  • Build stronger academic, organizational and time management skills
  • Discuss past challenges and plan for future success
  • Connect with other valuable resources at UMass Lowell (UML).

If you are interested, please complete the DS Peer Coach Form, and we will connect you with a coach via email before the semester starts. Meetings can be scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, virtually or in-person.

Report Non-Urgent Physical Access Concern

Students, submit a physical accessibility service request to the Disability Office. For urgent requests (i.e., elevator broken, push button issue, weather related, etc.) call Facilities at 978-934-2601.

Our team delivers various presentations, department visits, and workshops to faculty, staff, and student leaders. We value this opportunity to connect with the campus community on a variety of scales.
