11th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Distinguished Service Awards Nomination Form

This year, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Distinguished Service Awards are presented to University of Massachusetts Lowell students (undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral). These awards honor the contributions of individuals who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to social change, service and community engagement. Nominees should exemplify the dream, vision and work of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This year’s theme: “Believe, Dream, Do: Carrying Social Justice Work Forward into Your Professional Life”


Guidelines:

  • Application must include cover sheet with nominee & nominator sections completed and a description of nominee’s qualification and service contributions.
  • Self-nominations are encouraged!!
  • Applications must be received no later than Noon on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
  • Nominees of the MLK Distinguished Service Award are invited and honored during MLK Celebration on January 25, 2022 at 6 p.m. in Moloney Hall at University Crossing.
  • Nominees must be enrolled students of UMass Lowell of any level (undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral).
  • Recipients must not be found in violation of any university conduct standards.
