The Disability Services Office provides equal access by determining reasonable accommodations for students and partnering with campus communities to remove barriers, promote diversity, implement universal design and strive for inclusion for all.

Meeting with Disability Services

Disability Services is an appointment-based service.

Booking an appointment: To book an appointment with Disability Services, a student must first register with our office by following the Disability Registration Process.

Students who are registered with Disability Services: Students who have already had an Intake Appointment and are fully registered with Disability Services can Log in to Accommodate to book an appointment.

Important Student Updates

Registration with Disability Services: To register please follow our Registration Process.
  • Spring 2024 registration is now open. The last day to register for Spring 2024 and receive accommodations, is April 19, 2024.
  • Summer 2024 registration will open on May 6, 2024.
  • Fall 2024 registration will open on June 3, 2024 

Accommodations Requests: Students who are already registered with Disability Services are now able to submit their accommodations for Spring 2024. Accommodations requests for Spring 2024 will close on April 19, 2024.

Intake Appointments: Students who have started the registration process and have received a confirmation email approving their documentation can login onto Accommodate to book their intake appointments. The last day for Intake Appointment for Spring 2024 is April 19th, 2024.

Testing Center

  • If you have never had access to the Testing Center, please complete a Public Accommodations Request form to request access. Once approved, you will receive an email on how to proceed.
  • If you have  previously been granted access to the Testing Center, but do not have access for the current semester, please email Disability@uml.edu with your Name and Student ID to request access.
  • Students who need to schedule a make-up exam for the past semester, please contact the Testing Center directly as they will need to do this manually. For any other testing needs, please follow the guidelines on the Testing Center website.
