All international shipments (including mail) must be vetted and approved by the UML Office of Research Integrity prior to leaving UMass Lowell, using the Request to Export docusign form.
While shipments can be approved quickly, certain items or destinations can add special clearance requirements (e.g., require an export license from the relevant U.S. government agency), which may take several weeks to accomplish. Therefore, we recommend contacting this office as soon as possible to facilitate the shipment.
