Comprehensive Training Program for Nurse Practitioner Students
UMass Lowell’s Objective Structured Clinical Examination sessions feature Standardized Patients (SPs), who are trained actors that simulate the concerns of a medical patient. These actors are assigned different profiles of all ages, races, sexual orientations, and gender identities with specific medical histories and problems. You will interact with the SP to develop a diagnosis or next step for that patient.
MS Nursing students gain hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art nursing facilities. You’ll conduct lab work and simulated clinical exams of mock patients.
