Biosketch

Denzel Ziwe is a Civil Engineering major with a minor in Architectural Studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is currently a research assistant working on sustainable infrastructure materials, where he supports laboratory setup and triaxial testing to evaluate soil strength and material performance for resilient infrastructure applications.

Denzel is an active member of the Steel Bridge Club, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the ASCE Geo-Institute, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Scholarship Foundation, and the National Honor Society. He is passionate about advancing sustainable engineering solutions that strengthen and support communities.
