An Introduction To Weightlifting
An instructional 5-week hands-on program - introduction to weightlifting. Each session the personal trainers will introduce participants to a different exercise. Progressions and safety tips will be provided to help you improve form. Ranging levels are welcome, whether you have never performed these exercises or are looking to improve technique.
The group will meet from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room / fitness center in the Campus Recreation Center on East Campus.
Fall 2022 Dates & Topics (all Tuesdays)
- September 27 – Bench Press & Upper Body
- October 4 – Squat & Lower Body
- October 11 – Deadlift & Total Body
- October 18 – Bent Row & Total Body
- October 25 – Overhead Press & Upper Body
Cost
Cost is $25 for students, faculty, staff, and CRC members
