Membership Details

• Eligible members include UMass Lowell alumni or immediate family members (18+) of alumni, students, faculty or staff
• "Alumni" is someone who has graduated and earned a degree from UMass Lowell.
• If you attended classes at UMass Lowell but did not graduate, you would not be eligible to purchase a membership.
• "Immediate family members" are spouses, parents, children or siblings who live in the same house.
• Parking included

UMass Lowell alumni are eligible to purchase a day pass to the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) for $20/day.

Credit card payments only. We do not accept checks for day passes, and the CRC does not accept cash for any service or program.

• Alumni who purchase a day pass can reenter the facility on the same day at no additional charge if they show receipt of payment.
• To be eligible to check out equipment such as towels, basketballs, etc., alumni must provide a valid ID to keep at the welcome desk until the equipment is returned.
• Parking is not included with the alumni day pass. We recommend parking on city metered spots on Hall, Cabot, Perkins or Suffolk streets.

Current university-approved affiliates with full access to the CRC include:

• Learning In Retirement Association (LIRA) members
• Aramark employees
• Oak View Group (OVG) Tsongas Center employees
• 110 Canal Street employees
• Middlesex Community College (MCC) faculty / staff and their spouses

University-Approved Affiliate Members with full access are not eligible for parking, except MCC faculty / staff and their spouses. If an MCC faculty / staff / spouse are also a UMass Lowell adjunct faculty member, they would not be eligible for parking in this scenario.

Current university-approved affiliates with limited access to the CRC include:

• Draper employees
• 201 Cabot Street employees

Limited Affiliates are not eligible for parking and have restricted hours after 1 p.m. weekdays during the academic semesters. This restriction includes any group fitness classes that start after 1 p.m. weekdays during the semester. There are no hours restrictions on weekends or during winter / summer break (May 15 through August 30 and December 15 through January 15).

• Community members 55 and older
• Parking included
• Restricted hours after 1 p.m. on weekdays during academic semesters. This restriction includes any group fitness classes that start after 1 p.m. weekdays during the semesters.
• There are no hours restrictions weekends or during winter and summer breaks, May 15 through August 30 and December 15 through January 15.

• Spring: $100 (January 2 - April 30)
• Summer: $100 (May 1 - August 31)
• Fall: $100 (September 1 - December 31)

• Must be current students from MCC and provide valid MCC ID
• Membership fees will be prorated halfway through each term. For example, on March 1, July 1, and November 1, the membership fee will drop from $100 to $50.
• Parking is not included

• Summer Break: $200 (May 15 - August 30)
• Winter Break: $75 (December 15 - January 15)

• College students from other colleges and universities
• Students must provide a valid college ID from their institution
• Membership fees will be prorated halfway through the summer membership term. For example, on July 1, the membership fee will drop from $200 to $100. We do not pro-rate the winter break membership option.
• Parking included

• Spring: $100 (January 2 - April 30)
• Summer: $100 (May 1 - August 31)
• Fall: $100 (September 1 - December 31)

• UML Part-time and continuing education students who are not matriculated in a program need to purchase a membership to access the CRC.
• Membership fees will be prorated halfway through each term. For example, on March 1, July 1, and November 1, the membership fee will drop from $100 to $50.
• Part time students can check with UCard, Access and Parking Services (UCAPS) or Campus Recreation professional staff to verify if they have access to the CRC or if they need to purchase a membership

Full-time UML students, faculty, staff, adjunct faculty, part-time staff, and matriculated part-time/continuing studies students have access to the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) and Campus Recreation Complex on East Campus and the Riverview Fitness Center (RFC) on South Campus at no additional cost. A valid student or staff UCARD is needed to gain entrance into these Campus Recreation facilities. All patrons are subject to the Campus Recreation Facility User Policy and Standard Operating Procedures.

Eligible Memberships have access to the CRC Parking Lot and East Campus Parking Garage and will be provided a parking hangtag to display in the rearview mirror of their vehicle. Purchasing a membership eligible for parking does not guarantee a parking spot, just the access to park in the designated lots when available. There are instances where the lots will be closed for University events or programs.

• Alumni members

• Master's members
• Non-UML college student semester break members
• Middlesex Community College (MCC) faculty / staff and their spouses via UML Affiliate Membership

Memberships not eligible for CRC parking privileges

• UML-Affiliate Members (Aramark Employees, Global Spectrum Employees, 110 Canal Street Employees, Learning in Retirement Association (LIRA) members, and Draper Employees).

CRC and Campus Recreation Complex Guests

• CRC authorized users are allowed to host up to two (2) guests per visit.
• Guests must be at least 18 years or older to sign a liability waiver to enter the facility.
• Guests must provide a valid photo ID to verify they are 18 years or older. Acceptable forms of identification include a government-issued license, state ID or passport.
• The host is responsible for orientating all guests to facility policies and procedures and will be held accountable for their guests’ actions, including any damages.
• Any guest who intentionally damages property or violates facility policies can have their privileges revoked immediately.
• Guests may participate in informal activities only; they cannot register for any student-only recreation programs.

Guest Fees and Process

• The fee for student guests is $10 per guest and the fee for all faculty, staff and CRC member guests is $20 per guest.
• We will keep the host's and guest's IDs at our desk until they the exit facility.
• The host must accompany their guest(s) at all times.
• When the host exits the facility, the guest must also leave.
• Guests can re-enter the facility the same day with their host and copy of guest fee receipt.
• Guest fees can only be paid with credit card (no checks).
• Guests may not check out equipment.
