Academic Standards

Phase 1 of AFROTC comprises the first two years of the program. The General Military Course (GMC) consists of Aerospace Studies courses (ARSP) as well as Leadership Laboratories which must be successfully completed each term. Cadets will use this time to become eligible and qualify to meet a selection board who have the responsibility of selecting deserving cadets for Field Training and an enrollment allocation for the Professional Officer Course. This milestone is typically held between a cadet’s Sophomore and Junior year of college.
