UMass Lowell Information Technology (IT) maintains an imaging application called Perceptive Content produced by Hyland Software Inc. Currently being used by many of UMass Lowell's administrative departments, Perceptive Content is used to manage document workflows including those in Admissions (Undergraduate, Graduate and Continuing Education), Financial Aid, Student Records, The Solution Center, Procurement Services and the Office of International Students and Scholars.

UMass Lowell IT also offers a Web-based application called Perceptive Experience which is used to provide academic department users access to the documents processed and archived in Perceptive Content. Users such as Graduate Program Coordinators and their Committees are among the many users of Hyland’s web-based application.

If you wish to learn more about how Perceptive Content could help automate your department’s paper-based workflows, please open a Help Desk ticket requesting a Document Imaging (DI) Discovery Session.

Please Note: Information regarding Document Imaging maintenance windows and system alerts can be found on the UMass Lowell IT website.
