SiS is UMass Lowell's online student information system. Students have the ability to grant parents, guardians, family, spouses, employers, etc. access to their SiS accounts via a service called SiS UShare. Students do this from their Student Center within SiS. In compliance with FERPA, only students may initiate and assign guest access.
Guest access will allow you to view the areas of your student's record for which your student had authorized you, including the e-bill and online tuition payment. SiS UShare Guests should contact their student if they need additional assistance.

How do I use SiS UShare?
UShare Guests who have received their user ID and password can login through this UShare Guests login page. SiS UShare Guests view student data using the same functionality as students. How do I reset my SiS UShare password?
Only the student who set up your account can reset your password. Also, only the student is able to add additional content or services to your guest access account.
Please Note: UMass Lowell staff members are not able to see or reset guest passwords; please contact your student.
Are there any computer requirements to access SiS UShare?
The requirements are the same as other SiS users. You will need to set your browser to allow pop-up windows in order to view a number of pages. If you are having issues with your web browser, please check out the SiS Desktop Requirements.
What functionality should I see in SiS UShare?
In compliance with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) requirements, students control the areas of their record that guests are authorized to view. A student may add or remove authorized areas at any time.

How do I gain access to SiS UShare?
A UMass Lowell student must set you up as an authorized guest. Students need to log in to their SiS Student Center and navigate to the Grant Addt'l Access link. The student then adds user information and the appropriate security access.
A welcome email will be sent to you via the email address the student entered. This will include the User ID, but the UMass Lowell student will have to provide the password separately to you.
Once you have the username and password, you can log in using this UShare Guests login page.
