Yashvi is a junior biology major with a concentration in biotechnology and a minor in psychology. She says, “I am an advocate for emotional release as baggage that comes with being a college student managing work, school, and life can easily become overbearing. My mom is my safe space and I hope I can be that for others. Everyone is going through something in their life, and oftentimes, they just need someone to listen to them. Having a program through the school allows for a space where people can feel comfortable opening up. Together, we will build on healthy coping mechanisms. I’m excited to be a well-being leader!”
